In 2007, Ruth was named Program Chairperson of then-named DCTV by Mayor Ted Hussa. She has been a part of countless productions through the years, staying involved with town functions as DCTV moves from Channel 21 on Public Access to a channel on YouTube. She is also a devoted volunteer with Denville P.R.I.D.E, winning the Muriel Hepner Volunteer of the Year Award in 2022.

After moving to Denville in 1973, Geoff volunteered with Denville Community Television, which was being launched at the Denville Library. He soon became Project Director and served in that position for over 25 years. Geoff has also volunteered in various capacities within Denville, including the St. Clare’s Harvest Festival, the Denville P.R.I.D.E Council, the Denville Planning Board, the Environmental Commission, Boyscout Troop 99, and Denville Little League. He also volunteers on the POWWW Board.

Since a very early age, audio and video equipment has fascinated Dana. Starting when he was just 9 years old, playing around with his father’s stereo system, his love for electronic media has flourished throughout his life. Dana’s love for video production and editing have been his cornerstone of creativity, which is evident in his productions for Denville Community Media. These productions are focused on archiving, by telling the story of the town of Denville and its citizens in positive light. He has assisted in the growth of Denville Community Media by purchasing and providing training on newer equipment. He has been the lead in growing the base of volunteers and training them in skills of video production in order to carry Denville Community Media into a new era, as well as recently producing and launching DCM’s new podcast “That Denville Show” with the help of other volunteers in the organization. He has also played a large role in assisting in budget planning, website development and managing the social media site. He actively works to add more volunteers into the ranks and support them in whatever skill set they have to offer.
